Summary
The Business Applications – Banking Team is responsible for the development, maintenance and support activities of the Banking technical environment including desktop, server, mobile, market data, and web infrastructure. This role is the system administrator for the team to support primarily the OS (desktop/server), storage, market data and web infrastructure used by Business Applications – Banking globally
Principal Responsibilities
Supporting and maintaining the infrastructure environment of Business Applications – Banking globally including platforms, market data and web
Planning and organizing rollouts of the Microsoft environment within Business Applications – Banking in Asia
Installing and configuring enhancements or new software products
Liaise with users/vendor in delivering quality solution to business requirement
Communicating and interacting with global counterparts to ensure that we have a consistently integrated environment globally
Experience/Skills
At least 5 years of supporting an enterprise Microsoft environment. Proven administrative capability in Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft .net, IIS, and various third party desktop/server based products. Some experience in VB, VBScript, SQL and other scripting language required.
Working knowledge of mobile, desktop and server hardware from key vendors
Certification in Microsoft products like W2K or W2K3 server and Exchange preferred. Other technical knowledge like Net-Apps, EMC, and enterprise anti-virus management solutions is an advantage.
Strong team player and be able to communicating to all levels.
Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required). Fluent Mandarin is preferred.
